About eurospiders.com: I have always been interested in close-up photography. After a while I became more and more focused and fascinated about spiders. When searching Internet and bookstores for spiders, I soon realised there was a need for another spider site. So here it is - eurospiders.com. I hope you like it. My aim is to show detailed photos what spider looks like. It might help others determine the species of spiders they have found. I hope to be able to include a lot of common European spiders on the site over time. Even though the spiders are found in Europe, many exist in other parts of the world as well. As a photographer, I do a lot of things: sports, portraits, weddings, reportage and of course macro. Locally I’m probably known as the guy at the hockey arena, taking photos for the local ice hockey team, for which I am a sponsor with photos. Spiders are far from my best selling photos, this site is mainly my big hobby project. But since I am a photographer, I do license photos for use in books, magazines and so on. Maybe I’ll do a spider book on my own someday? If you have any ideas, comments or suggestions for improvements of the site, don’t hesitate to contact me (preferably by e-mail)!
