Between the two big blotches of light reflection from the flash, you can see a couple of white spots of hair in the middle. (Found: Nyköping Sörmland Sweden. June 2007 )

Facts: Family: Gnaphosidae Scientific name: Micaria pulicaria Common name: - The Ground spider Micaria pulicaria, about 3-4 mm long. It is very hard to take photos of this spider using a flash. The iridescent hairs reflects the light like metal. Therefore it is hard to see all the natural white spots, especially on the back of the abdomen, behind the white line.
